Couldn’t see the TV without moving it slightly as a large table and chairs was in front of it.

"Nice but could have been better."

7.0

This was a lovely cottage that had everything in it that was needed.

The property needs to be checked after cleaning etc as we arrived and there were no logs for the burner and the place was quite cold that evening. Also the instruction booklet was missing so we had trouble figuring out how the WiFi etc worked. We also had to clean out the fridge as this was dirty on arrival. Finally the parking space was very small and probably big enough for something like a Toyota Aygo or similar size if you wanted to get out of the car.

"Relaxing mini break by the sea in a cute cosy cottage"

8.0

The cottage was clean and cosy with a comfortable bed and sofa! It was near the beach, pub and cafe. It had everything we needed. Glad it had a wood burner!

It was a little musty but it was February and very cold. To be expected in an old property I guess.

"Lovely cosy cottage in a great little spot"

9.0

The property was cosy and well equipped. It was clean and very comfortable. We stayed with our 15 year old daughter and our small dog. A 3 night stay was perfect and the fact we went in February when we were able to take the dog on the beach was ideal. Loved The Ship Inn; a really welcoming pub with great selection of drinks and delicious food. We also went to the Hubbox which was amazing; probably the best burgers we’ve ever tasted 👌 We went for a lovely coastal walk to Mevagissey which was fab! Not too far and quaint little fishing village with some lovely shops, cafes and bars. We had amazing communication from the host both prior to our trip to reassure us and whilst we were at the property when we experienced a problem. We felt they went above and beyond so that was very much appreciated.

It would have been nice to have a little instruction manual to work things like heating as it took us a while to work it out. Also the tele kept glitching unless you watched on iPlayer and the tv in the main bedroom didn’t work for us at all. These negatives did not impact our stay and shouldn’t put people off staying in this really lovely cosy cottage.

"A great cottage and location was perfect, in a small unspoilt village. Not good for cooking"

8.0

Lovely cosy little house in a small and friendly village, close to a beautiful beach and walk over the hill to Mevagissy. it was close to all the interesting towns and tourist sights, even Lands End was not too far away. We could have stayed longer and visited more There was a great little conveniance store 5 minutes walk away and bike and kayak hire in the unspoilt village

There was no milk which would have been helpful as we arrived late in the evening. The knives were blunt and kitchen utensils were pretty poor quality. There was only one small saucepan and small frying pan- Not great for cooking It also smelt damp
