The Little Lighthouse - 2 minutes from the beach

The log burner, shower and close to the sea, nature and the square.

Bunk bed room very small. Bunk bed ladder obstructed by drawers but still able to get Up to bed. Small and compact but very homely once inside and it was very well equipped. Everything worked and the log burner’s glass door was spotless!

It was very cosy cottage with everything we needed and to have fireplace was a really nice addition,made evenings warm and nice 🙂

Even though the property allows dogs, I have opted out not to bring my dog, as I found out the beach is not dog friendly and the dog is not allowed to stay at the cottage on it's own.

Light, modern, very clean. Beautiful decor and pretty village.

Cold! Not ideal for winter break - nor for bringing a dog between 1st March and end September as dogs not allowed on nearest beach. Unable to get assistance from owner/manager during stay. We stayed in wet weather and were unable to dry wet clothes as cottage not warm enough. Upstairs particularly cold. 9 am far too early for anyone to vacate so we left the day before .

Location was great, perfect for walking. 5 mins from Mevagissey harbour.

Perfect location to the beach and the costal pat. Loved that it was in the heart of the village. Cottage was clean and the beds comfortable. It has all the utilities and things you could need. We loved table outside and the kids loved the bunk beds with the little lights.

Location, bathroom and bed were good. Host was very helpful.

The house smelt of damp and was very damp throughout the stay, even had slugs across the kitchen floor. This made it unpleasant, uncomfortable and cold. Towels and clothes did not dry. We found out how to put the heating on (not mentioned in the book) and it was better, but still not OK. Crazy for summer. The furniture was all far too bulky for what is a lovely tiny cottage and it made it difficult to move around. Some smaller clever design furniture wd be better. Sofa was smelly and dirty, needs new smaller one. Microwave was dirty and very mouldy. There was no dishwasher, this just needs removing from details. Hopefully this is useful feedback

The cottage is located in a lovely village and just minutes from a delightful beach. The cottage is well equipped and the host was very helpful,. We were most grateful for the milk and biscuits - a very thoughtful touch. The cottage is ideal for visiting places like the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Nothing - we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
