Charming Cottage & Garden - central Brighton!

Great area , and quirky cottage .

Its slightly tired and could do with a spruce up . There is a lack of mirrors , and the living room could do with a comfy sofa , which would really change the comfort of the whole property .

The location, it's proximity to the Laines. The serenity (apart from the day the smoke detectors went off thanks to my smoky sausages! Apologies to the local neighbours 😁). Very comfortable , the whole family enjoyed our stay & we've already booked for next summer too! Thoroughly recommended.

Location was perfect, right in the Lanes with everything on your doorstep. Walking distance to the seafront. The host Carey was wonderful

Comfortable, well equipped cottage. Excellent location. Quiet.

Everything! The location was perfect, a short walk from the railway station & the North Laines & just 15 mins walk to the beach, yet the cottage was tucked away down a small, quiet, residential, well-lit leafy lane. This older terraced property has been very tastefully renovated, providing a bright, open space downstairs & 2 well sized bedrooms upstairs. Both kitchen & bathroom had everything you needed for a short stay & we enjoyed sipping sundowners in the adjacent private garden. We did not hear any noise from the train station or from the neighbours. Communication with the host was excellent & very friendly. Finally, we can thoroughly recommend the Chilli Pickle for dining, the best Indian meal I've had for a long time.

A stones throw from the train station and walking distance to everything. Bed extremely comfortable and lovely soft towels. Heat and plenty of it water, if needed! Nightly watch of fox in the garden added to the enjoyment of stay!

Maybe could do with a few more bowls in the kitchen but that’s it really. The area does get noisy late at night as people use the lane to get home. I would recommend bringing earplugs for this and the seagulls!

Could do with a lick of paint and maybe some new blinds. Some issues with how clean it was.

It’s a very pretty cottage, cozy and in a great location (close to the lanes and the train station). We met Sylvia when arriving and she was lovely and very welcoming. The owner was very accessible via messages on booking. The property has everything you need: functional washing machine and dish washer, horse clothes, coffee machine, lovely little kitchen, very comfy beds, good wifi…the small garden is accessible just across the little road with a key. We enjoyed breakfast in the sun there. I would recommend and may come back

Nothing really. Maybe a suggestion from my friend to add a bread knife to the kitchen
