Lilac Cottage

nothing really stood out to me to make me think wow, it was average.

dog poo in the garden which we had to get up very hard towels poor lighting in the garden when walking out at night Only able to watch BBC channels unless you can sign into your own Netflix, Disney account but DVDs available

Lovely, clean cottage, with two nice bedrooms , daffodils on arrival were a lovely touch as were the doggy bits and pieces!

The soft mattresses, my personal preference is a slightly firmer one

We rented both cottages for the night before my wedding. The owners were amazing.... super thoughtful prosecco left for us and communication was really quick. The cottages were spotless, well equipped and really comfortable

the water in the shower was not very hot. The heating was also set quite cool.

clean and cosy and great welcome bits like cookies and milk, tea and coffee. Extra logs were provided which made the cottage lovely and warm.

Everything! It was all as expected - located right on the edge of the Forest of Dean, close to walking trails with a lovely village pub close by
