Very clean and well equipped.

The advert for the cottage did not make it clear that there was no upstairs bathroom and toilet which was a big problem for us as my wife has MS and access to a toilet during the night is essential. Also the amount of steps one has to negotiate to get in and out were really difficult as she has mobility issues. It's a great place, but you really do need to make it clear that it is not suitable for people with mobility and other issues. We had no choice but to cut our stay short so we only stayed one night instead of the two that we paid for.

"Fabulous cottage"

The cottage is amazing! Beautiful location. Really clean and tidy. Very well equipped. Secure for the dogs. We would love to stay here again some other time.

Parking on the road, but that was my fault as I didn't realise until after that there was off road parking 🙃. So, in truth, there was nothing that we didn't like.

Lilac cottage was perfect for our needs, walking or cycling from the door, great location for us whilst attending a wedding at the nearby Clearwell Church & Castle.
