The Spa Chalet Scarborough Hot tub, pool, gym, beach location

The location was perfect.

Could have done with full sized double beds

The location was amazing, the views were unbeatable

The chalet needed a little work but nothing that spoilt the break, it’s an old building so we expected it not to be perfect

The spa/pool wasn’t clean at all!

The instructions on how to get into the property and its location were first rate. Often these can be lacking and after a lengthy journey, aggravatingly inept. Not so here. Well done.

The correspondence between the letting agents and ourselves was really good, they phoned us a few days before to ensure we we were aware of everything on site. They also responded very quickly when we had a query. The welcome hamper was a very nice touch. The location was excellent, so central to town with only a 5 minute walk. The Spa Chalet was ideal for our party of 10 adults, we never felt crammed in there was plenty of room. The bedrooms were all of a good size and very comfortable. It’s a wonderful building full of character with wonderful views of Scarborough.

Some bedrooms could have had more drawer space, but that’s it.

Communication with the hosts was easy, and the level of service was excellent. The video information regarding the property for parking, directions and how appliances work were a great idea, no messing with instruction books. The chalet is as amazing as it looks in the photos, has everything you could possibly need, fabulous accommodation and a wonderful place to stay. The weather was kind and we had lovely walks along the promenade and beach in a morning, just perfect.
