Lovely cosy cottage quiet location easy to reach local beaches and towns

Found it very difficult to use hob on cooker

The cottage was spacious for two people and well equipped. Despite the time of year, the evenings were chilly so the easy to use and efficient heating was important. Chairs and bed were very comfy. The out of town location meant that it was quiet and it was easy to park. The large garden would have been a great addition in more clement weather! My question about facilities was answered promptly by the owners. We also appreciated the no dog policy (a hair free and smell free environment!) and the history of the cottage's previous owners. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Everything was very good, so these points are certainly not showstoppers. The shower was a bit temperamental and the cottage wasn't spotless, but comparable with many other holiday lets we've stayed in. The stairs are steep and a bit hard on old knees.

The cottage was immaculate and the standard of amenities within are excellent. The location is good for walking into town and to Railway station. Also an incredibly well stocked supermarket, Budgens is within walking distance. We also discovered The Venue and were fortunate enough to go and listen to live music.

Nice quiet location. A good touring base.

A bit cold on the Saturday night but we did not like to tamper with the heating controls.

Perfect location for a short break in Norfolk Great location with easy parking. Easy to walk into Holt and get the steam train to Sheringham

The log burner and heating system were very good. A nice modern kitchen with everything that we needed.

Excellent location: very quiet neighbourhood yet very close to Holt town centre.

Lovely log burner, well equipped kitchen. The new double bed was very comfy. Lounge was lovely just to chill out and watch the fire

Disappointed there was no new shower head/ fitting especially as the kitchen has been revamped. Irritating that my husband yet again had to clear the outside drain the day after we arrived.I know instructions are left in the cottage to unblock the drains, but personally I think there would be people who would find that unacceptable and would contact Dyno Rod to do the job for them. I think the drains should be checked before people arrive.
