Chestnut Lodge

We loved the rural location that was also a short drive to the town centre. We loved the grounds, parking, trees 🌳 and grass area. This place is ideal for kids and dogs 🐕. The resident dog is friendly. The hosts are kind and considerate. They try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation is comfortable and clean. It has all of the amenities you need. The location is generally quiet. We felt safe and cared for. The kids will love the numerous conkers. There is plenty of space to run around and play. My sister and I highly recommend Chestnut 🌰 Lodge. We will be back.

There were some road works nearby however these were not an issue.

Hosts are wonderful. They live nearby, but the two places are very well separated. The place is huge and very comfy. Closed terrace is a must when your dog need's to refresh. Very calm location.

Nothing I can think of, everything was perfect. You have to read cautiously the indications given by the host as they are really useful. At first, the GPS indicates you a location, but you do have to drive 200m more to get to the place. But again, everything's very well explained by the host.

Lovely remote location but equally close to amenities. Perfect if you want to escape but not be too far from services. Everything you could need was within the lodge, lovely visit from a beautiful dog too :-)

The beds were far too comfortable we didn’t want to get up!! Bedding very good quality

Would have liked a later check out although having said that we didn’t ask so that may of been possible!
