Chestnut Lodge

Beautifully styled and decorated. Very warm, cosy and comfortable. Dog friendly. Excellent facilities. Had a very good sleep in the bed. Plenty of room for 4/5 people and pets. We loved this cottage. You feel as if you are out in the country but you are only 5 minutes from the town. Will definitely revisit here.

Only issue which really wasn’t an issue is more of a preference is toilet at end of property . More us being spoilt as I used it easily enough during the night, we are just used to an en-suite.

Lovely property with loads of character. Very comfy beds and plenty of comfy seating in the lounge area. There were 4 of us and our son and daughter in law, who live locally, came over for New Years Eve buffet and there was plenty of room.

Nothing to dislike.

Very cosy, great location.

Unfortunately it was a little on the cold side- we did happen to go at an extremely cold time though! The heating was on but it struggled to warm the cottage.
