Chestnut Lodge

Nice place and not too far from our business

Only a couple of issues with hanging of full-length cloths and one bed too close to the wall, other than that it was very good

This lodge is beautifully decorated, well kept and exceptionally clean. A friendly guide on local attractions , places to eat and of course the all important WiFi code were avaliable to hand. Our only complaint is we couldn't stay longer.

Thankyou for a lovely relaxing night away, so warm and cosy Our little cavapoo Teddy loved running around the hallway and loved the garden area, It was a really cold night but not inside !! Lovely big tv in the living room, one of the bedrooms had a smaller one ,which would have been nice if the signal allowed us yo watch it Excellent big kitchen ,infact the whole place was massive and love the decor We loved it and will like to return, we've stayed in around 80 places and have only returned to 1 out of the 80

One of the kitchen cupboards was dirty and had a couple of things obviously missed from the clean aswell as 2 empty bottles left in one of the bedside cabinets but I cleaned it myself which didn't put a downer on our wonderful relaxing night away

The host, Jon, was super helpful and reactive when we ask for a few things. The place is comfy and cosy, and very clean.

The kitchen was ok, but missing a few essential items for any kind of proper cooking, like a scale/measuring jug or a nice pan.

The cottage was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. So were the chairs and settee. There was a secure outside area for my dog and a large area of lawn on which to walk her.

There were a few minor difficulties with the tap and the dishwasher but the owners were friendly and helpful . It was a little difficult to find. Due largely to us arriving in the dark and rain !

Everything was fabulous, the property is beautiful, parking really easy, the location was spot on and we loved every minute of it. Thank you so much.

Good sized rooms, baby cot and high chair were good quality and clean. Nice and warm.
