"An enjoyable few days in Bradford-on-Avon"

10.0

Lovely quirky cottage, full of character. Comfortable, spotlessly clean beds, plenty of towels and all the facilities we needed to have an enjoyable few days in Bradford-on-Avon. The location is great- a short walk down to the town, and really easy to hop on a train to Bath. Sunday lunch at the Bunch of Grapes was delicious 😊

We liked it all.

"Lovely English cottage"

10.0

We were looking for a location close to Bath without staying in Bath and this was perfect. Town is lovely and location was great. Best fitted out kitchen with cooking utensils from all the places we have stayed.

Be warned - like most older places in England the stairs can be a bit precarious, these are no exception but manageable as long as you don't have any mobility issues.

Really nice small cottage. Very and very cozy! Beautiful place near town center. You can easily walk and have nice food with beautiful food. Shop is around as well and you can find everything what you for cooking in the kitchen. Really comfy beds and pillows. 35 minutes drive from Bath. We did enjoy our stay.

"Great weekend and property suited our needs for a short weekend stay"

10.0

Good location. No parking outside the property as it's a main road but plenty of side streets so not a problem. It was well equipped. WiFi was excellent all throughout the property and pubs shops etc within easy walking distance. Beds were.superbly comfortable. Owner communication was excellent.

Stairs were a little narrow and would present problem for people with mobility issues, but it has to be borne in mind this is a cottage and not a modern apartment.

"Great property if you can manage stairs"

9.0

The owner communicated well and made sure we had everything ahead of our stay. The garden at the back of the property was very relaxing for breakfasts in the morning, beds were comfortable and the house clean. Nearly everything you could want was in the kitchen. Would stay here again, with right people, as the stairs to bedrooms and bathroom would challenge some people.

Parking was on street, and the building up a steep hill from the centre and train station (but the taxi up the hill is only £5 one way and there is a pub across the road that serves food, food deliveries and a Coop less than a 10 minute walk away, on a flat route, which does a range of high quality meals you could cook in the property's oven). The stairs to the bathroom and all bedrooms in the building would not suit people with mobility issues. The studio at the back of the garden is lovely and has a sink, but no toilet, so be prepared to come across the small, private back garden if you need the bathroom in the night (the stairs from the studio are well lit). The front bedroom has very thin curtains, so in the summer months the sun streams through them (there is a black out blind on the studio door which faces the same direction) and the traffic and passing noisy pedestrians may disrupt a light sleeper.
