Tanamuir, overlooking Loch Fyne, Strachur

The property was immaculate and very comfortable, in a great location with beautiful views out to the loch. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden.

The property was spacious, well equipped and so clean! Curling up on the window seats overlooking the loch with a good book was the best!

Location excellent and property well appointed with everything and more that you could possibly need. Great property layout as travelling with older son and lounge upstairs was great for him.

Cleanliness was disappointing and the property is a little tired - decking could do with jet washing etc, showers (plugs) needing a good clean, freezer had food in it etc. utensils and coffee machine dirty etc.. Hoovered rug and it filled the hoover bag on first day.

Very cosy! Well equipped and easy check in process.

It is a very welcoming house with lots of good design features and a very well equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the bed linen and towels are good quality. It has lovely views and a shop over the road. Clearly, a wonderful house for families particularly in the winter time.

We are an elderly couple who chose the property because it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor. We had studied all the photos and information given, so we knew that there were a few steps up to each exterior door. However, we were surprised to find that there was no handrail or safety rails on the steps, or in the case of the door into the kitchen, where the key safe is located, there was no wrap around rail on the raised platform outside the door! The bath in the house bathroom is quite high and the shower is located over the bath. Safety issue here as there are no grab rails to aid getting in and out of the bath. The bungalow is quite dark inside and the lighting is generally background. We are avid readers and there were no reading lamps either in the bedrooms or lounge. We found that it was difficult to get hot water or heating and it was very chilly when we arrived. On reading the information pack we felt that guests were discouraged from using any method of heating water or radiators other than the log burner. so in the summer months this was a challenge.

Great location, very clean and well maintained with well equipped kitchen. Amanda was a great host in responding quickly to all my questions and even helped me arrange birthday balloons before we came.

No negatives at all!

Spacious accommodation, nicely decorated and well equipped. Two lounge areas. Very clean and good for dogs. Lovely balcony overlooking the Loch. Plenty logs for wood burner. Space for 3 or 4 cars. Also has an electric car charging point.

No upstairs toilet. Nothing else.
