Cosy Little Hyde Cottage, Swanage

We stayed here while work was being carried out at our home. Little Hyde had everything we needed, a full kitchen of equipment, towels, great TV, comfy sofa and hot shower. It's a short downhill walk to the town, but obviously up hill on the way back, but not too bad.

It's a lovely place - it is quite small though. We were just 2 people, so it was fine for us, but perhaps a tight squeeze for 4 adults.

The property is clean, cosy, quirky, brilliantly located - a true home from home. There are nice touches like coffee, tea, milk and biscuits and shampoo in the bathroom. The host is also very helpful - we stupidly locked ourselves out and he was very quick to arrange help.

The book that had been printed were attractive and informative We saw the black and Green bins out front, both said No Food Waste other properties in the location had Brown bins also There was a a tall two waste bin in the kitchen with two separate bags It was not clear which bag was for Recycled etc We placed our glass by the bin as requested We messaged the owner on Sunday as we were preparing a seafood selection ie Whole crabs Prawns mussels etc We are very aware of odour and ineffective waste management Owner did not reply Also were 2 2 towels short but managed
