This is a real hidden gem. The cottage was spotless, very cosy and had everything we required. The bed was so comfy we had the best sleep. We hired the hot tub which was a real treat sitting under the trees and looking at the stars. We had a walk down to the river and the scenery is beautiful. It was lovely to watch the birds in the garden.We ventured out to the Running Fox for delicious food and walked round the gardens at Kirkhekle courtyard. The owners were excellent communicators and were very helpful and kind throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely everything! Immaculate, beautiful and host was very informative and kind. Showed us how everything worked including hot tub and sauna and couldn’t fault anything.

Beautiful location, the cottage was lovely and felt very homely, the kitchen was well equipped for my family staying a couple of days, and the whole place was really clean. We used the hot tub & sauna which was unreal and really made the trip! Thanks Samantha for a wonderful stay!

Excellent property. Easy to find and good access to Otterburn itself and Woodhill Hall wedding venue nearby. Excellent kitchen facilities with everything we could possibly need. A member of staff met us with a key as organised. It was lovely to find milk and eggs provided in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. All in all we had everything we could want.

Location was perfect. Cottage was lovely and clean and nice and modern inside with all facilities needed to make our little stay just perfect. Hot tub in the orchard was fantastic and there is a lovely walk around the property which takes you down to the nearby river. The kids loved it, we loved it. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the scent on all the linen. The garden to the rear was also lovely with nice furniture to relax in the sun. The geese even came to say hello during morning coffees. Small touches like the fresh eggs from the farm made our stay just perfect.
