Elishaw Farm Holiday Cottages

The location of this cottage is beautiful. Very rural with a river running through it. You can explore the land around the farm which is vast. It’s lambing season so there was lots of lambs about in neighbouring farms. It was only a 12 minute drive to an English heritage site & Hadrains wall. The cottage itself was beautiful. Every little small detail had been thought of and we wanted for nothing. The owner kindly left us a welcome box with eggs from the farm, biscuits. We had a lovely coffee machine and full kitchen with appliances. The shower was hot, the beds were comfy and it was silent at night. We paid £20 for logs for the log burner which was plenty for 2 nights and made it very cosy. There is very good heating so we were warm and comfortable the whole trip. Sam was great at communicating with us. The parking was easy and on site. Overall couldn’t have rated this higher and couldn’t recommend more.

Absolutely everything was perfect and at great quality in the cottage. Great place to stay, lovely place. Amazing welcome from the hosts. Highly recommended, our family loved it.

We were met by the host to check in and she was very welcoming and friendly! The accommodation was so clean and well presented. The bed was so comfy too!

Everything was perfect, nothing was too much trouble, owners were very helpful and lovely people. Highly recommend this little gem to anyone. Had everything and more that we needed. Wood fired hot tub and sauna were an added bonus to this lovely property.
