Our second time staying here. Didn't disappoint. Cute little cottage. Clean, quiet and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t have hot water in the morning for our showers so cold showers all round :(

Fantastic location for a wedding we were attending locally. Property was larger than expected and spotlessly clean. Good communication with the host (Sam). Would recommend to family and friends.

The cottage is lovely and clean with plenty of supplies when you arrive- milk, tea, coffee machine and lovely fresh eggs. But we didn’t have any hot water! We had booked as we had a family wedding at Woodhill Hall, so all 4 of us having to have a cold shower was not what we expected.

There was no hot water and when I first challenged the staff via text message, the first message back was that there had been the day it was cleaned. Then I was told that the previous booking has played around with the controls. I said I was happy and then was told I could check out if I wasn’t happy!!! Where would we go! We had booked to stay for a family wedding.

Clean, well designed and full of excellent appliances

If you like high quality accommodation, then I can highly reccommend staying here. It is finished to a very high specification. There were lots of little extras, such as farm fresh eggs, milk, individulally wrapped biscuits, nespresso coffee pods of very unusual flavours that were delicious, including a decaf pod, which was much appreciated, as that is all our daughter can drink plus also oat milk sachets, that my daughter was able to use during our stay for here drinks, and an absolute life saver. The sofa and beds were super comfy, all the furnishings and the surroundings were delightful. There is a smashing garden outside. Our host was very communicative, answering our messages immediately. we parked 2 cars easily, found our accommodation with ease, due to excellent instructions and also had a brilliant time. thank you so much Elishaw Farm Cottages.
