"Property okay but great for the Cape Wrath Trail."

5.0

Location was excellent for the Cape Wrath Trail. Downstairs was okay, the front room quite cosy. The kitchen was fine.

The whole property felt dated and the bathroom was definitely in need of an upgrade. The double bed felt like it was definitely in need of an upgrade too.

"The worst they have ever had. How do we get a refund only stayed one night"

1.0

we booked the property for colleagues who found on arrival the house was freezing cold. Apparently the host forgot they were coming. The house was so cold the beds were damp they all had to sleep in their clothes.

"Loved the area but the 3 bed accomodation needs some attention."

4.0

I received a lot of information via phone, text, email and WhatsApp from Fiona the Marketing Manager prior to our arrival. She was incredibly helpful about the local area and what to do. I was contacted via phone and text by a local fisherman about arranging a possible fishing trip. Very reasonably priced ( this is reflected in the quality of the accomodation ) Upstairs was cleaner. Carpeted areas looked fairly new. The surrounding area. The views were wonderful, despite having the main road running out the front and on occasions mosquitoes everywhere.

We didn't see the host. However we were out exploring the area for most of the time. The cottage was very tired. It is in desperate need of modernisation. Areas of the cottage were not terribly clean (especially the bathroom and some of the kitchen facilities)

"Unexpected charming cottage"

9.0

A very nice location along the road to Ullapool with great views on the loch and mountains. Fully equipped kitchen, perfect for self-catering. Old-fashion furniture but very comfortable. Ideal for a family of 5 adults on a road trip across the Highlands.

The bathroom would need a refresh for a perfect stay.

"A lovely peaceful cottage where I could enjoy some of my favourite scenery"

9.0

The only thing I would suggest, would be providing a full basket of logs. The wood burner is a lovely feature and it would be a nice touch to provide the fire wood, rather than guests having to go out and buy more.
