Comfortable & quite

Well equipped and when we asked for a torch, we were supplied with several straight away. Chest freezer use organised when we requested space to store our raw dog food. Owners live on site but they were very considerate and only really saw them on the first day. Within the Dartmoor National park yet easy drive to Tavistock Beautiful area to walk and run in

A secure garden would be amazing for the dogs but it was made clear in property details that this wasn’t the case .

Cute property, very clean and well equipped for a weekend stay

Pictures don't show it's right by the main house and no blinds on the door so no real privacy and I have an average hatchback and the gate stop on the drive scrapped the bottom of my car in and out every time

The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious with plenty of storage and we felt really at home. My husband has back problems and we're really fussy about mattresses and it was probably the best mattress we've slept on. The kitchen had absolutely everything you would need right down to equipment for making cakes. The instructions on recycling were detailed enough to know exactly what to do with everything. The sound of the stream and the owls at night, without any interruptions from traffic was magic. We came back one day for an afternoon cup of tea and watched the swallows darting across the fields into the stables, and walked through the lanes to the open moor just five minutes walk away.

I'm very keen on sustainability - the only thing I could fault was the provision of handwash in plastic bottles instead of hand soap but I realise this isn't everyone's choice.

Spacious, clean and well fitted out. Lovely quiet location where we could relax away from the bustle of everyday life.
