The Loft House - Beautiful House in Best Location

Property was in a great location for pretty much everything! What I loooved about this property was that we dealt with the owner in regards to any requests and she was so responsive! And to top it off so kind! This is not the case with so many of the stand alone properties on booking.com or other booking sites. Property has great amenities: high end shampoo/conditioner, body wash and hand wash. Small fridge with freezer compartment w/ice tray.

Honestly everything was great. It was cute. It was comfortable. Although we didn’t use the kitchen it was nice with great appliances. Good TV but we didn’t use it either. Only thing that might be improved which some other properties do is a small guide on how to operate the washing machine/dryer, I could not figure out how to get clothes dry. No biggie used the drying rack. Shower was also a little confusing and knobs got stuck or we were doing it wrong. How to get light on in bathroom mirror, bulb may have been out. Also list some of their favorite spots nearby.

The location can't be beat. Well, probably it can, but I mean to say it is an excellent location, but for the people passing by the bedroom and front door. The decor of the sitting room and kitchen is lovely. But I found the bedroom very dark, especially considering we needed to keep the curtains closed for privacy. Sheers would be nice as an option in addition to the existing heavy curtains. Our host was very good at communication.

With a name like Loft House, I was disappointed to see that the only bedroom is on the ground floor, adjacent the front door and not private at all from the sidewalk. At first I thought, oh a second bedroom (I had booked some time earlier and did not recall the details). But as it turned out, apart from keeping it dark with the curtains closed the whole time, it was cooler downstairs than upstairs. The windows needed to be open, but there are no screens and there is no screen on the upstairs skylight which was already open on arrival. This means insects fly in. It wasn't too bad in that regard, but somewhat annoying. The toilet tank was taking forever to refill, oddly, something over five minutes. Small point: we needed to unload several large suitcases as we were finishing a very long trip. We unloaded on the adjacent street and we were mildly harassed by the "meter maid" who didn't acknowledge that we were unloading in a loading/unloading zone. But it's a price you pay for the fine location.

Great location near restaurants, shopping, sights. Comfortable, nice size apartment.

This was a perfect place for us for a weekend in Bath. Great, central location and right next to some great places for breakfast. Also very beautifully decorated and a very comfortable bed! A fully equipped kitchen too. Good communication with the host throughout. Would highly recommend The Loft House!

The Loft House was just ideal for a few days recovering from a long flight. It’s in a great location; it has pretty much everything you might want, and the host was very responsive to any questions.

The kitchen is generally very well equipped - even gloves for washing up (as well as a dishwasher) - but some scissors would be a useful addition.

An extremely luxurious, well kept property in the heart of a wonderful city

Slightly nosier than we had expected, but nothing horrendous and certainly not the fault of the owner.
