The location was excellent and easy to find. The house was spotless with everything you need. Modern and comfortable.

Nothing springs to mind

The cottage was clean, warm & comfortable with a lovely view of the bay from the upstairs lounge window. The cottage/area was a great place to relax after a few weeks touring the north & Scotland. It was also a good base for exploring the coast & the lakes.

Position was fabulous opposite the beach and view of the sea and Scottish mountains from the lounge window. Very clean with lots of homely touches in this lovely cottage.

For me (but not my husband) it was difficult to have to go up and down the stairs to eat etc. - having the eating area upstairs and the kitchen downstairs was a problem for me - I do have mobility issues - but that's my fault for not having thought about it. It is clear in the description of the property. The stairs are quite steep too. The price you pay to have the lovely view from the lounge.

The cottage was very cosy and clean. We felt very comfortable and safe in it. We liked the privacy it provided and the flexibility of being able to pick keys up ourselves. There was lots of space in the cottage to keep our belongings organised and safe (i.e. in the living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom). The views out of the window, of the scottish mountains were stunning. The location was great for our purpose of getting into the lake district. Parking was nice and easy in front of the cottage. It is private parking so is reserved for guests. The shower was also excellent with very good pressure and temperature control.

The downside, which only affected my partner was that she said the bed was too soft for her. For me, I slept fine and didn't have any issues. The box for the key was also a bit stiff, making retrieving the key confusing. But we pulled down the lever AND pulled down the door of the box and were able to pry it down easily. But we got the keys within a few minutes so it was very minor.
