Hot tub was great, location was fab, you’re about 15 minutes away from Scafell Pike and Wast Water. Kitchen was nice and big. It has a dishwasher but there was only one tablet so we did a big wash on the last night. We wish we had booked for another night so I will definitely try and book here again but can imagine it gets booked up very fast!

There wasn’t enough toilet roll to go round for 5 ladies so not sure if we were supposed to supply this. Wi-Fi wasn’t amazing but they acknowledge this in the welcome folder they provide and it was nice to disconnect. (Lots of signal outside so gives you an excuse to sit and enjoy the view) The bbq wasn’t great, we had to go out and buy charcoal etc so just bare that in mind if you want to use this when you go.

Beautiful location, great views. Spacious, comfortable, mostly well-furnished. Excellent customer service (kettle replacement couldn’t have been any quicker). Interesting and unusual collection of objects and decorations!

Water pressure in the showers was low, a disappointment after a day’s walking. Chairs needed for sitting at the table.

Great house with excellent location for scafell and wast water. Views were breathtaking. Very clean, comfortable and quirky decor. Would definitely recommend and return.

Could do with buying a new BBQ. Wasn't adequate so had to do it all in the oven.

I came here for walking with three other friends and we all wanted our own room and space and this property ticked all the boxes for us and it didn’t disappoint. The cottage is really spacious with a beautiful and unique style. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable beds - much needed if you’ve been out walking all day!. Great location, peaceful and absolutely amazing views. The hot tub was a decent size and great way to relax after a long days walking.
