Heather Cottage Aberdeen

We liked the huge selection of children’s books and dvds. We liked the coffee machine! Lovely biscuits and wine from host for us too.

Amazing place!!!

Had a lovely weekend away , Aberdeen is lovely, cottage was beautiful, nice bottle of wine and cookies placed out for us on arrival , plenty of games and stuff for the kids, loads of room , very well equipped, food and bar 2 minutes across the road , i did think the sofas could be doing with a change as not very comfortable and the big disappointment was that the cottage shows a lovely wood burning stove and a bucket of logs beside it and to be told when arrived it cant be used due to the area of the council regulations was gutting , it was full of fresh as so had been used recently , there is clearly homes surrounding the cottage that are burning wood as could be seen , the only reason i actually booked this cottage was because of the stove , i was cold as the heating would not rise above 18 even when it was turned up full , we still had a lovely time apart from this , i would return if the stove and heating issue was sorted

It was well laid out and clean. Big bedrooms so enough room for us all

Close to all local amenities and bus routes

TV in the lounge was difficult to work

settes lumpy beds not comfortable or.pillows one bathroomwith shower over bath and very small downstairs.toilet for 8 people not suitable

property stated it had 2 bathrooms .. actually had one and an understairs toilet .. big limit on getting ready in morning for property with 4 bedrooms also stated had on site parking, parking was actually on nearby street v full of vans from a taxi firm, delayed getting stuff to and from car. Living room TV useless .. could not get a signal & did not have any streaming services.
