Easy to access. Good communal spaces. Open fire. Clean. Good communication from host. Bedrooms very comfortable.

Staircase up to level 2 is a bit precarious with no bannister. Quite worrying as one of the people up there was over 60 with slight mobility issues. There is a bathroom and an extremely small WC. Quite difficult with 7 people sharing for getting ready in the morning.

Spacious clean close to the city centre

The coffee maker was great, the bed was comfy. Loved the heating bars Loved the deep tub the backyard was beautiful to look at, just did not get a chance to enjoy it. Loved the heavy drapes! The decor was very nice And so thankful to see a washer and dryer!!!!!!!

The sofas were very uncomfortable, but cute :-) ( maybe they can be refilled?) It would be nice to have netflix in the living room as well. wash clothes (for the Americans ) ;-) , conditioner and body wash/soap would be great in the bathrooms instant coffee is not my thing. Maybe fresh grounds with a french press?

Very homely, everything was provided including so many extras like toys, books, fire wood, fresh flowers. The decor was amazing and furniture was lovely and rustic.

If bringing dogs make sure to double check it is included in the price as we thought it was included in the booking and had to pay an additional £50.

We found it very quiet and peaceful (the road nearby didn’t bother us). It felt spacious but homely. The kitchen was well equipped.

Unfortunately all the pillows were terrible and the sofas really unsupportive. We checked out at 11:00am on the dot (check out was 11:30am) on our final day but from about 10:00am someone (we assume the cleaner/owner?) was waiting literally at the front gate for us to leave. They had also tried the lockbox to get in as we noticed they’d tried the code. As we left they walked straight past us up the path to the front door, looking quite annoyed? We said thank you and tried to be polite but felt really uncomfortable. Obviously it’s a tight turn around to clean a large place before new guests arrive, but we felt like we were being watched and made to feel hurried, even though we left well before the check out time. It wouldn’t stop us staying again but left a bit of a bad feeling for us.

Plenty of space for 3 generations of family and lovely to have a garden:) The open plan living space meant it was easy to be together when we wanted to be.

Love property that is well set up for extended family group. Great beds and kitchen facilities. Clean, tidy and delightful!

A good size. Well kept, clean and well equipped. Plenty of parking.

Uncomfortable sofas
