The Bs Hive, Modern, stylish, 2 bedroom house, in Harrogate centre

Lovely little house. The downstairs was ok but the upstairs was too small. But it is ok for small or tiny people.

Too small bedrooms upstairs.

We were put in an alternative property on the day as there was a problem with the B’s Hive. It was called the B’s cycle. It was ok, but reminded us all of our student accommodation from 30 years ago!

Not easy to park and dark to walk to from the street.

Beds were comfy.. quiet at night..host is lovely.. we were out most of the time...but it was pleasant

Could do with a mirror downstairs.. and black out blinds in bedrooms.

It was clean and warm. Good location for walking into town.

I really don’t like to leave negative feedback but this accommodation fell short of our expectations in so many ways, I’m sorry to say. It was very austere and had no homely touches to make visitors feel comfortable. Advertised as a place suitable for four people, it had a small dining table to seat TWO. There was a two seater settee and a damaged leather-look chair so the “lounge area” was only suitable for THREE people. The staircase was very creaky so it was impossible to walk up/down the stairs in the middle of the night without disturbing others. The “bedrooms” (more like sleeping in a cupboard) were extremely small and each had a double bed which completely filled the room - so difficult to get in/out of bed. The beds were creaky and uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep well at all. I could go on at length but these are the main points for improvement.

Lovely quaint little house, perfect location and would definitely stay again 😀

Nothing to not like

The location was about 10- 15 min walk to all the bars and restaurants.

Overall the property was small, bedrooms very tight. Had an issue with the heating but the host got it sorted quickly.
