The Bs Hive, Modern, stylish, 2 bedroom house, in Harrogate centre

Location was very convenient to the centre of Harrogate town and the Great Yorkshire Show Ground which was our main reason for staying. We actually received a free upgrade to the B’s Cycle four bedroom property, although we only had access to two bedrooms as that was all we required. The downstairs living space was much larger that the B’s Hive we were supposed to be staying in so a massive bonus

Parking wasn’t the easiest as the street was very narrow with cars parked either side, additional parking was available to the rear of the property if required but again not a lot of space, kind of expected with an old traditional property and was manageable. The second bedroom didn’t allow much free movement and our friend’s who stayed in it had to climb across the bed to get in, they said perhaps this room would lend itself better to a single or bunk beds for younger guests, the bed itself was comfortable

Location fine only 10 minutes walk from centre

Key box instructions weren’t sent until I rang for them. Key box was high up above a blocked gate and was hard for a small adult like myself to reach. We couldn’t get the shower to work, fitting was flimsy and top of control came off, no bin in kitchen provided and no bin liners

Convenient clean and tidy value for money

The location was good and a short walk to the centre.

Some areas in the bathroom were not clean. It was expected or suggested that we remove our own bedding and towels. I didn't think this

Location and quirky ness

The lock on the front door was very temperamental shower tricky to use & desperately in need of new towels .. bleach stained and very old.

Convenient pace to stay, walking distance from train and my place of work in town. Easy access, no fuss to get in and check out of property. Quiet and ok for one night and for just me. Host very friendly and helpful.

bed squeezed into room, have to climb over bottom / tail board to get in. Shower curtain sticks to you if you move - not nice! No shops nearby, so bring what you need. Wouldnt call it stylish, a bit tired and could do with blinds that work downstairs so you can let light in.

Having to find the address, not as posted. Parking very limited away from the accommodation. Beds were squeezed into small rooms and could entered by climbing over the bottom bed end.
