Scruffy, no washing up liquid, mircowave etc, but cheapest there

It was quaint and nice for a short stay. Clean.

It was very hard to find. We had to call owner re location & WIFI code. Blinds downstairs stopped light and were difficult to ‘roll’ up! Cheap! Only percolated coffee supplied. Sink too small in bathroom. There is room for a larger one. Chair cover was ripped.

Within 10 minute walking distance of Harrogate centre. Cosy open plan lounge with log burner - you have to bring your own logs, luckily we have a log burner at home. Hardware stores in Harrogate with logs. Well equipped kitchen, with cooker/microwave, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. The bath is small (not full size). I did not find this a problem, although a larger/not as able person would find it a problem. Found the property ok from the instructions. Parking on the road, the property is located down the side road. This property could be a real gem if made into a one bedroomed holiday let.

The bedrooms are really small, cannot walk around the beds. Cannot get in and out of the beds without climbing over the middle of the bed. Elderly would not be able to manage. Its a shame, because if the property had been renovated as open plan upstairs, this would have made a good sized comfortable double bedroom. No basic provisions - would have been nice to have milk for tea/coffee that was provided and real olive oil for cooking. We feel it would be a proper squeeze for four people.

Nice location but very difficult to find

The bedrooms were very cramped and my mum had to sleep downstairs as she could not get into the bed as right up against the wall so you had to get in from the end - the house had not been serviced/cleaned properly as rubbish in bin from previous people, lots of dust and fluff on surfaces and floors, and not enough towels were left either.

Lovely, cosy cottage with modern appliances! We enjoyed our stay and wished we had a few more nights there.

Couldn’t get the fire working also needed more towels.

Close to centre. Clean.

Small sink in bathroom. Double bed in a single room. No wood for the fire. better seating in living room
