Lovely cottage - very clean and everything provided. Easy process on arrival and departure.

No dislikes.

For the price and I think I’ve seen a few people in the reviews mention this, just a bottle of shower gel and no shampoo in the bathroom, two toilet rolls and a coffee machine with no coffee pods, fire with one log and a few kindle is a bit stingy for a 4.5 night stay over Christmas. I think this is the first property I have ever stayed in where they didn’t have these little basics to welcome guests.

The house was cosy and the wood burner fantastic. We had a very comfortable stay again.

The cottage was cosy, log burner was a great addition, the location was great. The heating was very effective. The bath is awesome!

I don’t think many guests had stayed in recent days prior to us, as it had been cleaned when the last guests left but it was very dusty like it hadn’t be re cleaned prior to our stay. The log burner was great but there were no logs! There was a coffee machine but no pods not even 2 for the first morning & it wasn’t in the photographs so we didn’t know to pack any. The patio seating is different to the photos - the back bench isn’t there any more. There’s starting to be significant wear and tear on the property as it’s been refurbished 3 years ago and needs a lick of paint. The stairs are ridiculously creaky and noisy and often woke our baby.
