It’s full of charm and character, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located for exploring the town. The cottage is in an excellent position, close to St Ives but away from the busy town, if you like peace and tranquility. Returning here at the end of busy walking days was wonderful.

Some reviews mention that parking can be tricky when pulling out, but as a careful driver I found it no problem at all. If you park in front of the house facing towards Halsetown (not St Ives), it’s easy to get out, and there are plenty of turning areas on either side to make manoeuvring straightforward. We did not walk on the road as no pavement, so parked in the Rugby ground for £7 a day, easy and safe.

It was a sweet cottage laid back from the road, kitchen was nice also well equipped, the bedrooms were nicely carpeted and warm.

The major problem was the road, there was a gravel area to park the car but felt unsafe, if you was getting out on the road side it was so dangerous with fast moving cars, there was an accident while we was there between two vehicles. The other issue was no foot path making it dangerous.the downstairs toilet and shower seemed to have so many spiders my husband had to remove them also in other rooms there was a number of cobwebs.we was offered a mid week clean but we had already dealt with the issue.

This is self catering accommodation and had every facility provided for a comfortable stay. The accommodation was very clean and the furniture, including the bed, was very comfortable.

The ground floor shower tray is quite sliery when wet and the provision of a non-slip bath may would make this safer to use.

It's too popular so when I want to book it it's often already taken. I would happily live in this property.

The cottage was really good, everything we needed was there. The cooking and kitchen equipment was of a high quality. The linen and towels also high quality. The secure garden is excellent, especially if you have a dog.

The property is situated on a back road to Penzance from St Ives, which gets very busy, even at weekends. The parking space is big. But you could only park facing towards Halstown if you wanted to get out safely. The tv was of a good make, albeit would only operate via its smart features. This ment we had to sign into all our terrestial channels to watch BBC, ITV etc. This was fine for us, but, a the less technically minded would fined this difficult or confusing to understand. Perhaps a crib sheet with all the terrestial log in addresses would be a good start. On arrival the only clock in the cottage was not working.

Internet a bit of a let down no connection upstairs or very poor granite walls probably interfered. Downstairs good enough for zoom etc
