Settlers Lodge is a very relaxing and comfortable Lodge. The ambiance is so serene, you have everything you need for a good break.

Immaculately clean. Quirky delightful decor. Very comfortable beds. Everything we needed was provided. Hot tub great and cleaned daily. Karen replied emails extremely quickly.

No eating facilities within walking distance.

The Ideal surroundings for a peaceful break…the walks around the grounds, the lake area, river, red squirrels on the decking it was just beautiful. The Hamper provided on arrival was a lovely touch. BBQ grill, which we used on several occasions the hot tub & decking / seating area is such a highlight. The environment was perfect , clean , comfortable lodge with everything you’d want on hand. A few good pubs close by for food & drinks and the local supermarket has everything. We spent a day at the coast & a day at Kielder, Otterburn is a perfect retreat as it’s almost bang in the middle. The host, Karen was amazing prior to & during our stay, any information you needed she provided and some, she went over & above at every opportunity to make our stay memorable & stress free.

Hot tub seemed very hot temperature wise, the weather was gorgeous so could have done with a plunge pool, so maybe it felt warmer. 😄
