Great country location. Warm and comfortable. Good communication with host. Close to our family.

Steps from car park were a bit tricky with a bad knee and in the dark.

Lovely peaceful countryside location with a feeling that you're miles from anywhere. However, Newport is only 10 minutes away by car (so take out/a taxi is possible). Telford is about 40 minutes, and Stafford about 20 minutes. This is a beautifully finished property with lovely quality fixtures and fittings, and lovely quality linen. There's a great little fenced in garden, which is ideal for a dog. Beautiful views (from The Cart Shed). Lots of parking on site. Super easy to find via What3Words. Loved this property and will definitely be back for more than a one night stay.

Wonderful staff. Sara accepted my request. Friendly, professional greeting on arrival made us feel welcome. The dog was lovely and friendly too. As soon as we walked in we were chuffed. Having stayed in quite a few similar holiday homes this year traveling through Europe this place has got to be one of, if not the best. Open dining kitchen with everything you need. Sofa very comfy as was the bed. Fantastic old beams along the roof gave the cottage a real character and took me back in time imagining what they were in the past? Brilliant shower with powerful water flow and temperature control so relaxing hot shower was nice. The views/vista are awesome, especially the sun rise right infront of the window and the nature and animals, like the little birds chirping on the fruit tree in the adjacent horse field. You can go on lovely walks and there are good pubs nearby which serve quality food if you don't fancy using the very modern oven to cook your own. Everything was tip top clean condition. Smart TV had internet connection for netflix etc. We would very much like to stay here again in summer for a longer period of time. And basically right on our door step. Our batteries are definitely recharged after it wonderful short stay here. Thank you!

Unfortunately the pool was closed as out of season (October) which is only a minor issue and I didn't really expect it to be open. I'm only putting this as there was nothing else I didn't like.
