Location was perfect for a family wedding. Host was exceptional and could not have done more for us. Centrally located near shops/pubs and cafes. Just perfect

I booked The Stables last minute for my son and I as we were working nearby and tbh we're getting bored of hotels. Really glad I found this place available. The details to get there and access the property were spot on. The living room and kitchen are on the 1st floor and the space is huge but still felt cozy. The temperature was perfect for the 2 nights so didn't need to look for a thermostat. Glad there was tea, coffee etc as we was a bit under prepared, not forgetting the fresh milk and bottle of water in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was really good quality and it was quiet all night. Shower was great. Lots of facilities we didn't need but I will recommend The Stables to anyone who wants to get away for a few days. I can't really comment on Southwell, everything is within a few minutes walk away. We got a kebab on the 1st night and a Chinese in the 2nd night and had a couple of pints in the local pub. Becky did knock on on the 1st night to make sure everything was OK which obviously it was. Oh! and I should mention the complimentary bottle of wine which I consumed and enjoyed 😉! Thank you Becky!

We have stayed here for work purposes multiple times now and we have always had a lovely stay. Becky is always very attentive and makes sure we are settled. The property is very spacious and had parking which is really handy. We will continue to book here (if available) for any other future stays.

Great character and comfort and very spacious for two with a huge lounge. Hosts claim to aim high and they succeed. Main bedroom very comfortable, great heating, well stocked kitchen, great main bathroom.

Very little. Parking to the whole mews blocked at one point by a builders van, but moved off after 15 minutes. Very central, could be some noise from cars during summer if windows open.
