Samuel cottage

This is honestly one of the best cottages that I have ever booked. The photos don't really do it justice: the bedroom is massive, and the lounge is a good size with a big log burner (incredibly welcome after a long walk in torrential rain). The view out the front of the cottage looks out onto a river, with no other habitation in sight, so it's beautifully private. It was warm throughout and the bathroom was a good size, with a large shower cubicle. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely return.

A very clean and comfortable cottage which was perfect for 2 adults. The owners have worked very hard to provide a home from home for their guests both inside and out. It was nice to be greeted on arrival and to find bits for hot drinks and a snack left in the kitchen. Little touches like fresh flowers were very appreciated. Logs left and fire place set up but we didn't need to light it as the radiators kept us warm enough. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Gorgeous views. Great location to get to many areas of interest. Local pub a 5 minute walk with good food and friendly staff. Would definitely return here and recommend. Very good value.

The cottage was very cosy and comfortable for 2 people. Olwen welcomed us when we arrived and explained about the area and offered advice on where to go and what to see. The cottage had very good amenities and the bed was very comfortable and nighttime was very quiet. The view was exceptional with farmland, featuring cows and sheep and plenty of space to walk among their land with a stream running through it. It is within walking distance of the small town and you can also walk to Caernarfon if you wanted to.

There is nothing that I would say I didn’t like about the property.

The bungalow is in a beautiful location, perfect for a relaxing break with the dog. Some beautiful walks and lovely pub in the village. Loads of places to visit nearby, we will definitely return as we ran out of time. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

This cottage and location has absolutely everything you could want. Mountain riverside and beach walks. Plenty of attractions around with a castle train rides water and climbing activities. You can't possibly fit everything in on one stay and its perfect enough to want to return. The hosts were exceptional with a warm greeting and their willingness to share good local knowledge and tips for a good day out. The cottage itself is deceptively spacious and secluded but still within short distance of local stores and supermarkets. Facilities wise, I can't imagine anybody wanting anything more than what the hosts offer. My partner and I have had a fabulous time and will 100% return regularly 😀
