The Coach House

Spacious, two lounges, well equipped kitchen, bedrooms all a good size. Good location for ferry, Glasgow within easy reach. In good weather this house must have superb views of the Firth of Clyde.

Drive narrow and sloping and a big challenge for our five cars to park safely. Mentioned to our host who assured me the drive was soon to be improved.

The space in the house was excellent for our big family group

A really unusual and different house, spacious, clean and warm . Nice to watch the boats on the sea on a winters day and the lighthouses flashing at night Host was very easily contacted and helpful

Property was booked for workmen who said it was excellent. Ideal location to get to site

Very spacious, fully equipped and stocked for the stay with all essentials and more available. Great for group stay as plenty of space in the property not just one big livingroom. Great views and just a short walk from the town to local cafe and the pub who were very accommodating looking after the group with good food and drink at a very reasonable cost. Fabulous stay and couldn’t fault property or the staff and therefore would return for another stay and highly recommend to all looking for this style of larger house for a group stay.

Great views, good location, good size. Owner was attentive.

We were disappointed with overall presentation and cleanliness of property. The decor was tired and needed some TLC (in my opinion). For example, a shower curtain that needed replaced and mouldy grouting. Wires hanging out of walls in bathrooms and half of the sockets/light switches non active. Beds in all rooms were uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Cleanliness was an issue - we had to hoover behind beds and areas that were visibly in need of a clean and items left under beds from previous guests. Though we had a memorable time the experience could have been much better with a better standard of cleaning and some maintenance

Great value. Fantastic views. Variety of sitting / living spaces. Large cooking utensils so it was easy to cook for a large group.

Downstairs smelt damp on arrival but that mostly lifted once we were in and got the heating on etc. Some mould in the bathrooms.
