The Coach House

The coach house was lovely , bigger than I imagined with the photos , loved the extra touches with tea , coffee etc and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, we booked this as a short getaway with family , nice walks and family meals . Pool table was great and the views out were stunning , would definitely return

Beautiful, clean, spacious house, had everything we needed and more, loved the layout with all the bedrooms downstairs. It meant if someone in the family wanted privacy they could go and relax downstairs, loved the 2 sitting rooms- the men watched the football in 1 and the ladies chatted away on the outside terrace then came in and watched a film in the other lounge. The kids were occupied for hours playing pool or painting rocks (which we collected at Wemyss Bay beach) they were able to paint them sitting at the table in the outdoor area which was where most if us spend our time as the weather was fantastic! The views looking over to the ferry, we just knew we had to go on one which we did....Brilliant kitchen and dining area, huge fridge! And we brought a lot of food and drink with us but it easily stored everything, I could go on and on. The coach house has absolutely everything you need- cleaning supplies, kitchen roll, salt and pepper, tea coffee again I could go on it was absolutely brilliant, none of us wanted to leave and as soon as we get the chance we will be back. Great value for money and you have made a family who hardly ever gets to spend time together even closer. We are so grateful and glad we booked to stay here. Communication from the owner Marc was also excellent, everything was so clean and tidy and everyone commented how well they slept. The area was also fantastic with it being centre to Wemyss bay and Largs which are gorgeous- so many things to do nearby- we got a ferry to Rothesay one day and did a bit of shopping and visited Vikingar in Largs the other. highly recommend these, we also got a Chinese takeaway from the Skelmorlie kitchen which Marc had left out for us, that was delivered and it is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Could not recommend visiting Skelmorlie and staying here enough, it was the perfect family holiday for the 10 of us and we look forward to coming back again.

There was a bad bump near parking, my car hit the bricks. No soap or shampoo in toilets.
