The host was lovely and friendly, there were freshly made scones with jam from the farm. We even got a jar to come back to Scotland with us. The farmhouse is a beautiful traditional building with ample space for socialising. We loved the surprise of getting into bed and finding warm hot water bottles.

House was very spacious with plenty of room for our family. Annette and Ivan were very welcoming and very helpful with advice about where to go in local area. Children were delighted to bottle feed the lambs in the morning and hosts kindly let them use the swings and trampoline in their garden. Great location for anyone looking to explore the Mournes and elsewhere in Northern Ireland - plenty to see within a 30-40minute drive.

The farmhouse, from the moment you walk in, is warm, comfortable, and inviting. You are welcomed by lovely homemade scones and a drop of milk for tea. My husband, myself, our 5 year old son, and our two dogs stayed here for three nights and felt welcome the moment we booked. Annette and Ivan are brilliant and kind. They have much knowledge of the area and are always available for anything if needed. Annette even invited our son to help feed the lambs, which was a lovely surprise. This was our second stay here at the farmhouse, and we would recommend it to anyone who would like to visit the area. As we will return the next time we visit.

We loved the scones and jam on arrival from our lovely host plus being able to light a fire in the evening. We found the hot water bottles a nice surprise.
