GBThe house doesn't look much from the outside but inside it is beautiful. Large split level kitchen and living area, large comfortable bedroom and very nice walk-in shower. Stunning views over the River Wye. Lots of useful information and help from the owners regrading things to do and the local area.
Outside the front of the property is a bit untidy, but this doesn't detract once you are inside. Getting in and out of the driveway is not that easy and requires some thought, depending on which direction you are planning to leave the property.

GBI would completely endorse River View and we will definitely be back. Helen and Martin are lovely people (and their dog, Max, is gorgeous) and are next door if you need anything. They provided lots of valuable information regarding where to eat and what to do. The location is superb with amazing views. The Monsal Trail is a short walk away, as is the River Wye. Bakewell and Buxton are a short car journey. We prefer Bakewell and highly recommend the Bakewell Pudding Shop with their Bakewell puddings being the jewel in the crown. I left two items of clothing behind and Helen has posted it back to me and refused my offer of postage and packaging costs. The bedroom is a good size with plenty of space for clothing. The bathroom is very nice with a very good shower. The main living area and kitchen is spacious and comfortable. We went in February so appreciated the effective heating and log burner. If the weather permits, there is a small outside area where you could eat/drink or just sit an enjoy the amazing views. There is safe, off street parking. Overall, highly recommended.
