Bakers Cottage Ludham - Norfolk Broads

This was our fourth stay at Bakers Cottage and it was wonderful as always. The cottage is perfect for our needs when we visit Norfolk and it is always immaculately clean and very well equipped. Our hosts are always very friendly and helpful if there’s anything we need and nothing is too much trouble. We’ve become so used to staying there that it almost feels like a real home from home.

We’ve never really found anything that we don’t like about the property.

The property is located in a beautiful village which also has excellent facilities. The cottage is ideally situated for visiting some of Norfolk’s most beautiful areas. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored and is a delightful place to stay.

For us, the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable even with the mattress topper our hosts had thoughtfully provided. Mattress-types are often a personal preference and unfortunately this one was not ok for us.

Loved the home made scones.

Beautifully and thoughtfully restored 18th Century Cottage perfect for two adults - everything catered for exactly as described on line. Location perfect for exploring Broads / Norfolk in general. Handy shop yards from front door and pub. Lovely little patio area to take in breakfast..

Nothing it was perfect.

There was a welcome pack of food when we arrived, with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt & pepper, oil, and 6 scones, butter and jam. that was everything we really needed to see us through the first day.

All I can think of was possibly extra storage for our own toiletries in the bathroom (but there was basic toiletries provided anyway).

Very comfortable and well equipped was like being home from home Hosts were very attentive and professional Village location was stunning and was very central to attractions Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area

Had a wonderful stay. Lovely cottage, great communication from the hosts. Lots of thoughtful touches. Great location. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We were met by the host and given a tour of the cottage We were provided with fresh scones, jam and butter and tea and coffee and milk - what a nice touch The cottage was spotless, nicely decorated and very well equipped with washing up liquid, shower gel etc It was a rainy miserable day and the host had very thoughtfully put the heating on for us which we really needed even though it was July . Would definitely recommend . In a great central village location close to shops and a lovely river walks from the front door.

It was cosy, comfortable and perfectly clean, with everything we needed during our stay. Parking outside the door was never an issue. Information available about the local area was useful and the welcoming scones and jam delicious!
