The Tin Church

Wonderful house and beautifully equipped.

What an amazing place. The tin church exceeded our expectations. This little gem has all the home comforts. You can really appreciate the love and time that has gone into renovating the church — the attention to detail speaks for itself. It’s spacious yet cosy, with the most breathtaking scenery. So tranquil, with lots of local wildlife. The bluebells were just making an appearance, creating what looked like a carpet of blue against the green backdrop of the mountains. We used the little shop in Carbost and travelled a little further for the things it didn’t have. This place is amazing. The family should be so proud of what they’ve created, and it was lovely to be able to share a space that has clearly been made with such care. Thank you, Claire and Richard 🌿

Mooi huisje in een prachtige rustige omgeving

Lovely cozy accommodation with fireplace. Perfect location to explore Skye and visit the Talisker distillery. Beautifully decorated interiors. Caroline replied very fast when we had questions. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for relaxing and cozy holidays on the isle.

Very cozy

The Tin Church is more than it looks like on the images. It was our safe space after a long day out exploring Skye. We really appreciated the space we had for our week there. It‘s very spacious, the room layout is great, the bathroom really modern and clean. The communication with Caroline was excellent, check in and out really smooth.

Be aware that the road to the Tin Church is very bumby, so not in a great condtion. But if you drive slow and carefully everything should be fine.
