Rosemount Bothy - Highland Cottage

Very comfortable! Host was very accommodating.

We loved the range and the chance to cook in it.

There was no washing machine, there is nothing in the village to eat out or do your shopping.

Rosemount Bothy was fantastic…great location for walks and hiking Ben Wyvis, well-equipped with everything we needed, and very comfortable, clean and cosy! We appreciated the sweet treat and wine gift for arrival, and all the little touches that made it feel a home away from home.

Wonderful location in the Highlands. Beautifully presented wee Bothy that was very clean and cozy. Great natural fire combined with radiators made for a warm homestay. Although petite, the use of space was extremely efficient and we quickly adapted to our lovely little Bothy. Plenty of fuel for the fire, warm comfy beds, and some homecooked food made for 4 wonderfully memorable nights. Plenty of places to visit less than 20 miles away. If the weather is good, the outdoor decking would be great to spend an evening. The WiFi was grand and the all amenities worked as supposed to. Our host had supplied ample maps and local information which we used to plan our walks. The countryside is gorgeous and the surrounding villages have plenty of amenities to get by. Couldn't have been better.

We could only spend 4 nights here, oh, and the weather was a typical Scottish spring (but we can't blame that on the Bothy!). It's not a 'dislike' but be aware that space is limited inside. We had 2 kids (11 and 14) and it was fine but we had to spend a bit of time to adjust to the surroundings.
