Rosemount Bothy - Highland Cottage

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Very well equipped, clean and cosy. We had a great time visiting nearby waterfalls and exploring stunning scenery.

Very helpful host. We were travelling by public transport (mostly train) so the host recommended shopping in Inverness during the break in journey between trains. The host also provided an acoustic guitar which was a lovely extra for our evenings in front of the fire. We also found ourselves in need of a small sewing kit, the host provided one.

The Host and the property were perfect, the only thing that would have been nicer could have been better bus connections (not within the scope of our lovely host!) to places that we wanted to hike from, but, having said that, we managed pretty well on the train.

It is a lovely quiet location with walks from the door and easy access to Ullapool and beyond. Although a small space it is just perfect and the attention to detail is fab. Will book again if in the area.

Very happy with our stay, everything provided and very clean and cosy. Will be happy to go back again at some point in the near future.

Lack of storage in kitchen area for food but still manageable, I’m quite fussy and like things tidy and in their own time place

Location excellent for Torridon district. Roads low in traffic so able to travel distances in shorter time than in England or urban areas. TV Alba great. The bed was very comfy and the night very quiet. All super clean and tidy. Shower and bathroom great.

Beautiful cottage with everything there you needed. Lovely welcome with wine and biscuits! Very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to light the fire in the stove - felt very cosy. Dog friendly.
