Location was lovely and quiet. Barbara was really helpful with directions. The cake was a lovely surprise. The information about local walking was great.

A deposition £100 is required by the host. This needs to be clearly stated in the property description. It is a hidden extra on top of the fee for the cottage. There is no problem with the hosts wanting a deposit but it needs to be up front and clear. The hosts were great about returning the deposit promptly.

Location suited us as very quiet, a pub and hotel nearby for meals and both places very friendly. Situated in the middle of places we wanted to visit. Information and leaflets in cottage suggesting walks and places to visit
