Cute place and perfect for the family. Perfect location to visit relatives and town.

Loved the wood burning stove Hot water was plentiful WiFi was good Beds were firm Lovely and clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with equipment The location was good, and it was wonderful to wander around the village and pop into the different independent shops

Perfect property. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Great location. We were visiting family for the weekend and the open plan living room and kitchen was perfect for us to socialise together a real home from home

In a delightful small town to walk, but also close enough to York to see our daughter graduate.

Ideal little cottage. Cosy, clean and comfortable. They had WiFi and Netflix, good shower decent beds. The hosts tried to keep a parking space available right outside the cottage which was a big help. Had lots of nice little touches if needed, such as umbrellas, outside seating for a coffee, good pans for cooking. All well thought out.

It was perfect! the living area, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and yard area were beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything you could need. the additional (above and beyond but very welcome) touches of washing machine and laundry tablets, tea and coffee,milk in the fridge and welcome biscuits was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water and had it not be raining we would have definitely sat outside in the cute garden! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting family and we hope to be able to stay again in the future! Helen and Patrick were responsive and welcoming and even parked their car outside the cottage to save us a space when we arrived! So kind!

very beautiful, clean and we did two loads of laundry. we made a great pot of spaghetti. we will revisit again.
