Wish Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Wish cottage. It is a lovely cottage, all we needed was there. Kitchen was well equipped, living room, table with chairs in the kitchen. Very nice interior, lovely curtains :-) The area is beautiful, Pub The Red Lion next door which serves excellent food for a good price. Little post office close by for small things and a nice coffee bar just 5 min walk. To go to centre of Eastbourne we used the car, about 10min drive. The host was very helpful and left a floor mattress plus duvet/pillow plus camping bed since we were with 3 adults, friends, not couples, and preferred to sleep in different beds. Highly recommended!

Beautiful little cottage , with lots of original features , great location for exploring the lovely countryside and close to Eastbourne, had everything we needed and more , nice and cosy , the owner couldn't have done anything else to make us more welcome . Handy pub right next door with lovely food and great hospitality The best thing of all finding out we was distant relatives of the previous owner, after reading an information booklet and finding the details , this was all by amazing coincidence .

There was nothing we didn't like , apart from having to leave

We loved everything, cottage was clean and well equipped, wine and biscuits was a lovely treat!..after moving away from Sussex after nearly 60 yrs a year ago it was lovely to be back, would definitely stay again!

We loved the location! Lovely cosy cottage with everything needed for a restful stay. Clean and comfortable and greeted with a lovely welcome gift. Many thanks from the doggies too, they enjoyed all the lovely walks!

A bit of an tidy up of the garden, but because it was winter fine

Very cosy and warm especially since the weather outside was cold and very wet! Well equipped and comfortable. Location was great, short walk to the Downs and pub almost next door with good food and beer and dog friendly (cottage and pub).
