Wish Cottage

Good location.Nice little cottage. Left treats for the dogs and some champagne wine and chocs, which were very nice. Enjoyed the stay. Close to pub and Thai restaurant which was very easy close to South downs

Bit disappointed in the garden. Although enclosed and safe for the dogs. It was full of bindweed and dead shrubs. There was a weed with burrs that kept attaching to the dogs. The front was also weedy. It was more noticeable as the next doors garden was also rented out and nicely maintained.

It was perfect in every way with space to unwind and enjoy. Tastefully decorated throughout. Particularly like the little touch ...a bottle of wine and box of chocolates and very good quality hand soap and moisturizer . Beautiful location with choice of pubs an restaurants

Absolutely nothing

We were attending a tennis tournament in Easrbourne, and the cottage was only a 10 minute drive to the event.

The beds were not super comfy….maybe a modest topper and some natural fibres in duvet and pillows would have been a cool benefit….as it was very warm during our stay.

It was a very quaint and cosy cottage with everything we needed. it had a lovely little decking area to enjoy the sunshine too! it had 2 very nice pubs nearby and just a 15 min bus ride into Eastbourne and the downs literally in the doorstep.

Good location and very cosy. Wine and chocolates on the table when we arrived which was nice. Lovely to sit on the terrace outside in the evening.

The beds are a little uncomfortable and mattresses need replacing. There were no spare pillows and one thin pillow wasn’t enough. The kettle smoked from the switch when we turned it on. Don’t park in the pub car park because the landlord objects.

could do with some saucepans as there was only a small one with no lid - but this wasn’t an issue
