Merewood House

The location was very good. There was on site parking for two cars and the Park&Ride to Oxford was within walking distance We had good weather and it was lovely to sit out in the garden and use the summer house.

The apartment is very large and bright. It was clean and tidy. It has everything one may need. The host is kind, welcoming and always available.

The position is a little far away from the city center and one will need to walk a bit to get to the bus station.

A lovely, spacious, comfortable house. Quiet neighbourhood.

It is a good distance away from the centre of Oxford so you would need a car or to use public transport.

Lovely location really close to Oxford with park and ride and surrounding areas and close to green fields The bedrooms are all double’s and have good storage Living room is very large and comfortable

Hi Nick Thanks for the stay. As you can see by my score we were really pleased with the location and cleanliness of the house. We appreciated the dishwasher tablets etc and the take away food leaflets which we took full advantage of on the first night. A couple of things I think are worth mentioning. The shower in the main bathroom was difficult to get right and the high temperature was even too much for my husband who likes it hot! I think that there is a real possibility that the person using the shower could be scolded. The only other things were that a couple of the drawers had a few bits of fluff etc which could easily be eliminated by a quick vacuum. I might have just missed it but I don't remember mention of the hairdryers in the list of facilities. The last two points are just a bit picky and in no way spoilt our stay. We would certainly come again and recommend you to our friends and families. Best wishes. Marion Blythe
