Merewood House

A full,.large house to ourselves, with plenty of living space and a lovely garden. The owner very kindly allowed us to extend our stay after my father in law fell ill.

Beds and mattresses need a massive upgrade. We found them very uncomfortable.

Spacious rooms, plenty of bathrooms/loos & a lovely Summer house.

Nothing - all great!

Lovely house and lovely garden. We spent 3 nights with my husband, my kids and my mom. It was clean and nicely furnished. The bed was ok the bed linen looked fresh and clean and the bed was made to a good hotel room standard. It was an easy access, we received all the information prior one day our arrival, which I appreciate because our flight was late and it was one less thing to worry about. Well done to the hosts to run it so professionally.

Ideal base for the Silverstone weekend had everything we needed for our family of 4. The kitchen was well equipped and living room very comfortable after a busy day. The key lock box was good as we arrived quite late. Easy access to the motorway. We would definitely return.

Beautiful home in a really good location. Has everything we need. And the host Nick is an amazing host. It’s our second time stay in Merewood house and we would definitely stay there again.

None as everything is perfect.

The house was perfect for our family of 5! Everyone had their own space and we were comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful with questions and the house was stocked with everything that was needed. The check-in and check-out went smoothly as well. Thank you for having us! We highly recommend!

We wish the location was more walkable but no one is to blame for that! The house was close to the bus that took us to the city Centre which was very easy!

Property size and location were great.

Some of the pots and pans didn't look clean. The hot water kettle had some water in it when we arrived, not sure how long that water was in there. The bed frames were very flimsy, so any movement caused a lot of creaks. It rained during our stay, and while not having a dryer is completely fine, i wish the property was equipped for indoor hang drying. Please provide shampoo, or explicitly state to supply your own.
