Merewood House

Very clean, lots of space for the four of us. We liked having a bathroom for each couple. Sofas were comfortable. The house was warm and there were soft blankets in the lounge if we needed. The house was literally 15 minutes walk from Park and Ride, which we made use of. We slept well. Plenty of kitchen utensils and pans for cooking.

We have no complaints about the property. My husband suggested the addition of a fire extinguisher in the kitchen would be a good idea, and I think it would be good to have a hand towel in the kitchen as well as the tea towel. We didn't think to take dishwasher tablets- it would have been good to either have a reminder to bring some, or to have a couple there for us to use.

Spacious accommodation with modern facilities. Very handy for buses into Oxford (via Thornhill Park’n’Ride).

Lovely house, good location

Stayed here for a weekend away with family and it was perfect. Lovely house with everything you could need, clean and comfy, and also amazing public transport available to the city centre.

The accommodation was to a great standard. I thought the idea of not having a wardrobe, but racks instead was great as it made each of the bedrooms far more spacious whilst still allowing you to hand up your clothes. Drawer space was available in all rooms.

There were a few basic things missing such as a corkscrew, but the neighbours were very obliging.

The house was really conveniently located to transport links for both drivers and public transport users. It was immaculately clean on arrival and this made it so easy to settle in to our weekend break as soon as we arrived. The host was easily contacted and resolved small issues immediately which was great! I would highly recommend this property
