"Wonderful Stay"

Butchers Cottage was a real home from home. It was so comfortable and everything you could possibly need for a 2 week stay in the gorgeous Ironbridge. I had returned to Ironbridge for my sons wedding and my daughter and her partner came over from Australia. Staying in Butchers Cottage and being so close to Ironbridge and Jackfield brought back so so many happy memories. The Ironbridge Gorge and surrounding area is beautiful and especially in Autumn with all the stunning trees and colours 😍

The only real issue during the two weeks was the WiFi stopped working on Wednesday and hadn't been fixed when we left on Saturday. I know that this is beyond Owners control as I did live in the area for 20years and know signal is a problem.

Butchers cottage is a fantastic place to stay in. 3 storey cottage, cosy with everything you need. Right in the main town of ironbridge, walking distance to all shops and restaurants and pubs. Dog friendly. Perfect! Would definitely recommend and would use again.

Great location, easy short walk into Ironbridge centre. Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Few treats left by owner was a nice touch. Near all museums either walk or short drive .

Steep narrow stairs down to the kitchen , need to put light on before going down. But it was ok.

"Great location for a lovely weekend"

The location was great, we had a parking permit to use in all council car parks in Ironbridge which was great, the cottage was very comfortable with everything you needed. Would definitely recommend

The garden was a bit unkept, but as the weather wasn’t great we had no need to use it

"Beautiful cottage and location."

The location is great, a few minutes walk into Ironbridge centre & close to the river. The cottage is homely, comfortable & clean, the outside areas are really lovely too. Our second visit & would sure return again.

Nothing, though just a preference - the front bedroom could do with a mirror.

Lovely spacious cottage with garden, close to scenic river walk, pubs and restaurants. Perfectly located! All the conveniences including toaster, washing machine with detergent in addition to all the regular appliances. Parking permit provided, we always found parking close by. Perfect for hiking in the area.

Bathrooms and kitchen are up or down stairs (especially after a long day hiking)
