"Wonderful stay in a beautiful and interesting place"

9.0

Great location, interesting layout, well designed and equipped kitchen (including essentials like tea, salt, oil, spices, etc.), brilliant views over the river. Host was fantastic - when we queried the lack of a cafetière, she had one delivered the next day. Great bird life in the garden (including blue tits nesting in a bird box). Toys and colouring books for the children were a very nice touch.

Beds not very comfortable - the slightest movement by one partner causes the other to jiggle. The car park (for which there are two free permits) is very convenient, but on one occasion was full so we had to drive some way away to find a space. The house is on a busy road, though this did not disrupt our sleep as the main bedroom is at the back.

"Amazing cottage, thank you Claire"

10.0

Absolutely Everything, a beautiful cosy cottage, can’t wait to return. The little extras were much appreciated. The Parking permit is such a bonus. Loved the Christmas decorations and even a surprise tree in the kitchen. The layout of the cottage is perfect.

we went with our 3 grandchildren for a Halloween weekend at Blists hill Victoria town the location of the cottage was ideal just a few minutes away in a taxi but the main benefits of the location were it was just yards away from ironbridge center and the bridge ! the cottage was excellent our grandchildren absolutely loved it so much the didn't want to leave the cottage had everything you needed excellent kitchen and dinning area we took tea bags sugar ect but there were plenty already there on the whole a very comfy cottage would defiantly stay again

only thing i would change are the pillows we all prefer feather pillows but thats a personal thing !!!

"Wonderful stay in the heart of Ironbridge Gorge."

10.0

This gorgeous, cosy cottage was an ideal base for us to explore Ironbridge Gorge. The quirky layout delighted the kids, and they were gobsmacked when they saw the double bed with top bunk in their room! Our double room was wonderful too, the bed was soft and the linen felt premium and warm. The towels too were soft and snuggly. The garden is unlike any I've seen in a rental cottage like this - utterly gorgeous and sloping down to the river. Such a beautiful view whenever we woke up or sat out drinking wine on the living room balcony (thanks for the complimentary bottle btw!). The kitchen is a joy too, with plenty of space to cook for a family and modern, quality cookware and appliances. The location could not be better for walking into Ironbridge itself, no more than 3 minutes to the fabulous fish and chip shop, 4 to the divine Donutology, and 5 to the excellent Eley's Pork Pies, and the bridge itself. While the double yellow lines outside are a slight inconvenience, the included visitor parking passes (x2, in case your party are arriving separately) allowed us to park in the public car park almost opposite, and we never had any trouble finding a space. Communication before the stay was great too, with enquiries being responded to quickly and effectively. The only downer is the popularity - when we realised we had time to stay an extra night, it had already been booked - so if you see any availability you really should snap it up, you won't be disappointed!

Narrow stairs to the kitchen may trouble those with limited mobility, but won't be a problem for most.
