Butchers Cottage

The property was very clean and well presented. Quirky layout and lovely old beams. We also like the selection of games and toys left for the kids. Close to the river and the town. So was a perfect location.

There was nothing we didn’t like but for small improvements -the garden was overgrown and couldn’t really be used by the kids and we would have also found a stair gate on top floor helpful.

Amazing house. Quirky in design but felt at home instantly. Great kitchen and would have loved to bbq and spend time outdoors, but it rained.

The bed was very soft and very creaky.

Everything was nice. It was so nice clean tidy comfortable

Amazing location, with a short walk to the bridge, great for doing all the museums in Ironbridge gorge and there's a lovely walk down the back of the house by the river. The kitchen was lovely and dining area were much bigger than it looked in the picture with the bonus of a downstairs toilet Even though the house looks small from the outside it felt surprisingly bigger than expected and the kitchen and bathroom were really well equipped. It was lovely just to look from the balcony listening to all the birds, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and we saw lots of different birds.

Superb location, just away from the busy centre of Ironbridge, the cottage overlooking the gorge. Parking convenient just a short distance away, house comfortable and spacious over 3 floors. Lounge area very comfortable with large corner sofa and big TV. Well equipped kitchen on lower floor (with handy WC on that level). The best feature for me was the outdoor spaces - an idyllic quiet terrace off the lounge on the first floor where you are up in the tree level looking down to the river and gorge and a dining area on the lower floor where you can bring your meals out to eat (and is covered in case raining).

Beds ok but not the best, the one in double room had a very soft mattress and the one in bunk room not found to be very comfortable.
